Lenny Madriaga

Associate Director, Asia - Commodities, Sales & Trading

Lenny leads searches within global commodity markets within Ethos BeathChapman’s Financial Services practice. He has partnered with a range of different clients, including some of the most globally recognised tier one trading houses in the world, listed metals and mining companies, as well as a growing number of boutique hedge funds.

Prior to EBC, Lenny worked for a boutique firm specialising in front office mid to senior level appointments, predominantly within Asia. His track record of previous placements includes CEO / C-Suite, heads of trading and technical sales director roles.

Having moved to Singapore from London in 2012, Lenny began his headhunting career across multiple disciplines including engineering, construction and design, before moving into the commodity markets.

Lenny enjoys working collaboratively with his clients in order to achieve the best results. He particularly focuses on developing a deep understanding of the different aspects and culture of their business first, before targeting the right talent in the market. It is such attention to detail and service, which has led Lenny to his numerous successes and achievements - such as being awarded the “Singapore Top Achiever 2017” in his last company.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Kings College London in Philosophy. After graduating from University, Lenny spent two years teaching English in Japan, which helped inspire his passion for food, travel and snowboarding. Lenny is a keen martial artist, taking up muay thai and boxing in his spare time, which he maintains not only keeps one fit, but can also help with discipline and focus.
